Description
1773 1/2P Virginia Halfpenny, Period MS64 Brown PCGS. Newman 22-S, W-1550, R.5. Though labeled as "Brown," this rare Virginia halfpenny has considerable copper-orange at the left obverse rim. Softly struck but with smooth surfaces, particularly at the blue-brown centers. Housed in a green label holder. Listed on page 43 of the 2010 Guide Book.From The Stan Burger Collection, Part Two.
