1773 1/2P Virginia Halfpenny, Period MS64 Red and Brown PCGS. N. 27-J, W-1585, R.2. Orange-red peers from the legends and portions of the shield, though most of this Choice halfpenny is medium brown with one small spot on the lower left border of the crown. Abrasions are absent aside from faded marks on the obverse exergue. Listed on page 45 of the 2013 Guide Book.From The Dr. Charles Nelson Collection.
