    Brass, No Wreath, Betts-562

    1778-1779 TOKEN Rhode Island Ship Token, No Wreath, Brass AU55 PCGS. Betts-562, W-1730, R.3. The intermediate variety of the Rhode Island Ship medal, with VLUGTENDE removed from the obverse exergue, and without a wreath below the ship. The left obverse and central reverse are golden-brown, while the remainder of the medal is deep gunmetal-gray. A lightly circulated and minimally abraded example. Listed on page 50 of the 2016 Guide Book.
