1778-1779 Brass Rhode Island Ship Token
No Wreath Below Ship, XF
1778-1779 TOKEN Rhode Island Ship Token, No Wreath, Brass XF40
PCGS. Breen-1139, W-1730. Most Rhode Island ship tokens are
copper, but the present piece is from the scarce brass alloy. It is
primarily light olive-green with glimpses of salmon-pink here and
there. Protected areas show the minor verdigris characteristic of
the issue. Well defined for the grade. Listed on page 48 of the
