    Description

    1778-1779 TOKEN Rhode Island Ship Token, Wreath Below, Copper AU58 PCGS. Breen-1141, Betts-563. Despite the satirical nature of this token, economic necessity permitted it to circulate along with other non-monetary coppers of the era. This piece, coined in copper or brass, is deep brown with streaks of pumpkin-orange on the reverse. Listed on page 48 of the 2007 Guide Book. Population: 5 in 58, 3 finer (10/06).
