    Description

1783 1C Washington & Independence Cent, Draped Bust, No Button, Silver Restrike PR62 PCGS. Baker-3A, W-10380, R.6. The elusive silver version of the W.S. Lincoln restrike produced in the mid-19th century. This sharply detailed proof has excellent contrast between the deeply mirrored fields and lustrous devices. Both sides are brilliant with only a hint of gold and iridescent toning. Listed on page 80 of the 2015 Guide Book.
Ex: Houston Signature (Heritage, 12/2009), lot 20, which realized $2,070.
