    Mint State Large Military Bust

1783 COPPER Washington Copper MS 62 Brown PCGS. Large Military Bust. Baker-4, R.1. Well struck, the deep brown patina shows much underlying glossiness with an accent of pale blue around the peripheries. Downgraded in part because of irregular striking details on the word WASHINGTON on the obverse and (UNI)TED on the reverse, which indicates the dies were probably misaligned at the time of striking. Listed on page 58 of the 2001 Guide Book.
