Description

1783 Nova Constellatio AU 55 PCI. Pointed Rays. A well defined example, struck on a poorly prepared planchet that shows numerous tiny flakes out of each side, especially the obverse. Medium brown color overall, a rim nick is seen at 11 o'clock on the reverse. Listed on page 34 of the 1996 Guide Book.
