Brown NGC. Crosby 2-B, W-1865, R.2. The Pointed Rays, Small
U.S. combination, a Guide Book variety. The central eye is
remarkably well defined on this piece, complementing a bold strike
overall. Each side displays satiny chestnut-brown patina with
reddish hues. A few daubs of olive appear near the rims in select
