Description
1783 TOKEN Georgivs Triumpho Token AU58 NGC. Baker-7, W-10100, R.3. Believed contemporaneous with its date, this token bears a portrait of General George that more closely resembles King George. The usual die state with a heavy vertical die break across the left (facing) shoulder of the standing figure. A charming medium brown representative with bold definition and only a hint of wear on Washington's nose and the chest of the reverse figure.
