    1785 C NOVA Nova Constellatio Copper, Pointed Rays, Small Date -- Environmental Damage -- NGC Details. VF. Crosby 2-A, W-1885, High R.4. The distinctive Small Date reverse is the only such Nova from 1785. On the obverse one ray points slightly right of the bottom of the first O in CONSTELLATIO. The surfaces are deep brown and roughened. The central details on each side are noticeably weak. Listed on page 56 of the 2020 Guide Book.
