R.4. The 1785 Small Close Date is a semikey variety of the Nova
Constellatio series. The present example retains noticeable luster
about the olive-green fields and chocolate-brown high points. The
centers show incompleteness of strike, characteristic of the
variety. Both sides display a few moderate abrasions, most apparent
near the B and R in LIBERTAS. Listed on page 54 of the 2016
