Description

1785 COPPER Connecticut Copper, African Head AU50 Details, Obverse Damage, NCS. Miller 4.1-F.4, R.1. A glossy and attractive chocolate-brown example with bold details aside from slight softness of strike on the date. A few ticks on the cheek and a mark at 1 o'clock account for the somewhat harsh NCS assessment. Listed on page 40 of the 2004 Guide Book. (#319)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2B2B, PCGS# 319, Greysheet# 114)
