Description

1785 COPPER Connecticut Copper, Bust Right VG8 NGC. M. 4.4-C, W-2375, R.3. The designs reveal attractive tan color with hints of rose against the dark brown fields on this piece revealing a slight counterclockwise rotation on the reverse. Several planchet flaws are present, including one near the eye on the portrait. The surfaces exhibit moderate granularity and scattered hair-thin marks. Listed on page 61 of the 2014 Guide Book.
