Description

1786 COPPER Connecticut Copper, Large Head Right--Environmental Damage--NGC Details. Fine. M. 3-D.1, W-2510, High R.5. The young-looking "Scholar's Head," sure to appeal to students of the Connecticut copper series. Though the medium-brown surfaces show fine corrosion over each side and a rim bump at the lower left obverse, touches of cinnamon in the centers bring back the eye appeal. Listed on page 59 of the 2011 Guide Book. MRB Good 6.
Purchased from W.B. Johnson (6/17/1959).
