1787 1/2P Machin's Mills Halfpenny AU58 PCGS. Vlack 19-87C,
R.2. A glossy, chocolate-brown representative with an amazing
amount of detail, for the type. There are 12 varieties and
sub-varieties from this year, but none has ever been graded in Mint
State, and, indeed, this is the single finest-graded example from
all of those known varieties, at either of the major services, as
