    Description

Pleasing Fugio Cent, Club Rays, Rounded Ends

1787 1C Fugio Cent, Club Rays, Rounded Ends VF30 PCGS. Newman 4-E, R.3. A scarcer type than the Pointed Rays Fugios from the Bank of New York hoard. The orange-tan devices are nicely centered on the planchet, and are highlighted against the medium brown fields. The surfaces are quite clean for a Fugio, revealing no significant abrasions, planchet flaws, or areas of corrosion. Nice definition for the grade is noted on the design elements.
