    Description

    1787 Fugio Cent, MS63 Brown
    N. 13-X, STATES UNITED Reverse

1787 CENT Fugio Cent, STATES UNITED, 4 Cinquefoils, Pointed Rays, MS63 Brown PCGS. N. 13-X, W-6855, R.2. Well-centered on a glossy, hard planchet, this is a Select Uncirculated example of the popular Federal issue. Medium chocolate-brown color covers the lustrous surfaces, while the strike is uniformly sharp with only slight weakness at the top dentils. The central motifs are especially well-defined, with a prominent radial die crack at 6 o'clock on the reverse that helps confirm the N. 13-X variety. A few faint glimpses of mint Red remain at the borders.
