    1787 Massachusetts Cent, MS62 Brown
    Scarce Ryder 4-C

    1787 CENT Massachusetts Cent, Arrows Left, Bowed Head, R. 4-C, W-6100, Low R.4, MS62 Brown NGC. A glossy medium brown commonwealth copper. No marks are more than incidental, and the high points show only slight blending. The "Bowed Head" Ryder 4-C is a somewhat better variety, identified by die flaws near the W in WEALTH and the M in MASSACHUSETTS. Listed on page 61 of the 2020 Guide Book.
