Not Sold Description
1787 COPPER Connecticut Copper, Draped Bust Left XF40 PCGS. M. 37.8-HH, High R.5. This olive-brown representative has less circulation wear than the third party grade implies, but the strike is uneven, affecting the drapery of the bust and the head of the seated Liberty. The date is partly off the flan, but the surfaces are pleasing, without any abrasions or corrosion. Listed on page 60 of the 2009 Guide Book.Ex: Pre-Long Beach Sale (Superior, 6/2000), lot 22.
