    1787 Miller 34-ff.1 Connecticut Copper, MS63 Brown
    Select Mint State ETLIR Variety

1787 COPPER Connecticut, Draped Bust Left, ETLIR, M. 34-ff.1, W-4060, R.5, MS63 Brown NGC. Obverse die 34 is known with reverse dies k.3 and ff.1. Reverse die ff.1 is known with obverse dies 33.13 and 34. With a razor-sharp strike and great coloration, this Select Mint State example is the finest-known of the die combination and a true condition rarity based on its outstanding preservation. Vibrant orange accents glow beneath shades of lavender, blue, and violet. Neither side shows meaningful marks or abrasions, while a few scattered areas of deep toning confirm the original surfaces. Eye appeal is sensational. Listed on page 66 of the 2021 Guide Book.
