1787 COPPER New Jersey Copper, PLURIBS AU50 PCGS. Maris 60-p, High R.4. The PLURIBS designation is absent on the PCGS insert. A high grade for this very scarce error legend subtype. Toned deep golden-brown and medium brown. The centers and right shield corner show the surface of the planchet prior to the strike. Listed on page 66 of the 2009 Guide Book.
