1787 COPPER New Jersey Copper, Small Planchet, Plain Shield MS61 Brown NGC. M. 43-d, W-5225, R.1. Both sides of this lustrous Mint State piece have medium to dark brown toning with lighter tan on the reverse high points. An attractive representative of the New Jersey colonial series, destined for a specialist's cabinet or a high quality type set of early coinage.
