1787 Nova Eborac Copper, XF40
W-5750, Large Head, Figure Left
1787 Nova Eborac Copper, Large Head, Breen-985, W-5750, R.6,
XF40 NGC. This is one of the two rare Nova Eborac varieties,
with the Large Head obverse and Figure Seated Left reverse. The
current piece is finer than typical, as most are low grade. Deep
ebony patina coats the occasionally micro-granular fields, but most
areas are smooth. Chestnut-brown highlights visit the elevated
elements. Well detailed and pleasing. Listed on page 38 of the 2026
