1788 Massachusetts Half Cent, MS62 Brown
Ryder 1-B, Scarce in Mint State
1788 1/2 C Massachusetts Half Cent, R. 1-B, W-6010, R.2, MS62
Brown PCGS. A lavender-gray representative of a popular issue
struck the year the U.S. Constitution was ratified. The centers are
well struck, though peripheral elements show occasional
incompleteness. The obverse shows green specks near 3:30 and 10:30,
and the reverse has minor laminations near 9 o'clock, but marks are
absent. Listed on page 59 of the 2025 Guide Book.Ex: FUN Signature (Heritage, 1/2003), lot 5037.
