Description
1788 1C Massachusetts Cent, Period XF40 PCGS. Ryder 2-B, W-6200, R.4. Attributed by the wide date and a die lump below the first T in MASSACHUSETTS. A lovely coin for the grade. The surfaces are pleasing with no spotting or significant roughness. We do note a faint planchet streak on the upper right of the obverse, matching on the reverse where there is also a minor streak found near the top. Listed on page 57 of the 2010 Guide Book.Ex: Long Beach Signature (Heritage, 9/2005), lot 530.
