Description1788 COPPER Connecticut Copper, Draped Bust Left Fine 12 NGC. M. 16.4-L.2, W-4620, High R.5. The 16.4 obverse was used in conjunction with two separate reverses, and both varieties are rare to extremely rare. This is a Fine example, chocolate-brown with the reverse in a near-terminal state with a break across. Planchet voids are present on that side, and painted-on attribution letters appear along the edge just under the portrait. Listed on page 60 of the 2011 Guide Book. MRB VG8.
