Description1788 COPPER Connecticut Copper, Draped Bust Left--Graffiti--NGC Details. VF. M. 16.5-H, W-4625, Low R.5. A midrange representative of this very scarce to rare die pair, strongly outlined with a degree of glossiness to the black-and-brown surfaces. A shallow curved clip affects the truncation of the bust. The painted-on attribution in the left obverse field is incorrect, claiming a 16.3 obverse and an N reverse. Listed on page 60 of the 2011 Guide Book. MRB Fine 15.
Purchased from Rudisill (12/5/1961).
