Description

1788 COPPER Connecticut Copper, Draped Bust Left XF40 PCGS. M. 16.1-H, R.4. A close ET LIB helps identify the reverse, while the obverse has several diagnostics including a period after AUCTORI. Lovely medium brown patina drapes the surfaces, which have moderate porosity and a few minor marks. The lower left of the obverse is soft and INDE is partly obscured, but the rest of the details are crisp. Listed on page 60 of the 2009 Guide Book.
