1788 COPPER Connecticut Copper, Mailed Bust Right -- Curved Clip at 11:30 -- AU53 NGC. M. 2-D, W-4405, R.1. Struck on a clipped planchet, caused when two punches through copper strip overlapped. This lightly circulated chocolate-brown example has a few small spots near the shoulder of the mailed bust. Listed on page 62 of the 2013 Guide Book.From The JG Collection, Part Two.
