About Uncirculated 1788 Bust Right Vermont Copper

1788 COPPER Vermont Copper, Bust Right AU53 NGC. RR-16, Bressett 15-S, R.1. A nicely centered example with deep golden-brown and walnut-brown patina. The peripheral legends and design elements are bold, while the centers are typically struck and offer a whisper of verdigris. Obviously a well cared for piece, since neither side has any visible marks. A high grade for a Vermont Copper. Listed on page 58 of the 2005 Guide Book.
