Description
1789 TOKEN Mott Token, Thin Planchet, Plain Edge AU55 PCGS. Breen-1021. The Thin Planchet pieces are scarce relative to the usual Thick Planchet variety. From early dies with no break from the clock corner. The reverse appears off center toward 7 o'clock due to a misaligned die. Steel-gray and medium brown with occasional minor granularity. Listed on page 70 of the 2010 Guide Book. Population: 3 in 55, 3 finer (8/09).Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2B5L, PCGS# 604, GSID# 245)
