Description
1789 TOKEN Mott Token, Thin Planchet, Plain Edge XF45 NGC. Breen-1021, "Very Scarce." More rare than the Thick Planchet variety, this example does not have the large die breaks that often accompany Mott tokens. Struck off center, which is more noticeable on the date side. The eagle and many of the clock-side legends are softly struck, and portions of the planchet near the center are rough.
