    Description

    Choice Uncirculated 1789 Mott Token

1789 Mott Token MS64 PCGS. Thick Planchet, Plain Edge. Breen-1020. Chocolate-brown surfaces are very well struck over the central devices, with mushiness in the peripheral areas that may have resulted from a slight bulge in the planchet which leaves the obverse convex and the reverse concave. This Colonial issue, which was probably struck circa 1809, is listed on page 54 of the 2001 Guide Book.
    From the David Bruce Collection.
