    Inscribed Reverse, Baker-60

    1792 1C Washington Born Virginia Cent, Inscribed Reverse MS62 Brown PCGS. Baker-60, W-10730, R.5. Ex: Norweb. 175.0 gn, 30.2 mm, per its Stack's catalog appearance. Most Inscribed Reverse examples are well worn and have partially unreadable legends. The median grade at PCGS is VF35, but many examples show corrosion or damage and are ineligible for third party assessment. But the present piece is sharply defined throughout with smooth medium brown surfaces. Light golden-brown toning is relegated to the margins. The usual reverse variety without periods after the 1775 and 1783 dates. Listed on page 82 of the 2013 Guide Book. Population: 1 in 62 Brown, 2 finer (10/12).
