Baker-25, Musante GW-22, Fine Details
1792 CENT Washington Getz Pattern Cent, Small Eagle, Copper --
Surfaces Tooled -- PCGS Genuine. Fine Details. Baker-25, W-10775,
Musante GW-22, High R.5. Plain Edge. 32 mm. These Washington
pattern cents struck by Peter Getz of Lancaster, PA are known in
several varieties. Plain Edge coins that measure 32 mm in diameter
represent the most collectible type, although only 35 pieces are
known. Other examples exist on 36 mm planchets (eight pieces), plus
a handful of coins with ornamented edges. The reverse shows good
detail, while obverse definition is not quite as clear. Deep brown
surfaces are porous with fine scratches on each side. Listed on
