MS63 Brown Muling of 1794
Talbot, Allum & Lee Cent With
1793 Birmingham Halfpenny Reverse

1794 1/2 P Talbot, Allum & Lee/Birmingham Halfpenny Mule MS63 Brown NGC. Dalton & Hamer Warwick 54, Rulau-NY-883, W-8665, High R.4. A handsome medium brown representative. Boldly struck, although the boy's hair lacks absolute detail. The right obverse field has minute planchet flakes, as made. One of several elusive mulings known for the Talbot, Allum & Lee cent tokens, struck by Peter Kempson's mint to capitalize on the crest of copper "Conder" collecting in England during the late 1700s.
