Description
1794 1C Talbot, Allum & Lee Cent, NEW YORK MS64 Brown NGC. Fuld-4, W-8590, R.1. Small ampersand. A mildly prooflike piece with pristine fields and a crisp strike. Mahogany-brown with hints of initial orange-red on the reverse. The 1794 is much more elusive in Mint State than its 1795 successor. Listed on page 76 of the 2013 Guide Book.Ex: Denver Signature (Heritage, 8/2006), lot 77.
