Sharp MS64 Red and Brown
1794 TOKEN Franklin Press Token MS64 Red and Brown PCGS.
Breen-1165, W-8850. R.1. An uncommonly well preserved example
of this popular British token. Each side shows mint red around the
devices, yet the obverse has significantly more than the reverse.
This is an early die state with no trace of the die crack that
develops at the obverse center on those pieces struck from a more
advanced die state. This coin is part of the Conder token series,
although it is one of the more popular Conder tokens associated
with America. Listed on page 42 of the 2026 Guide Book. PCGS
