1795 Talbot Allum & Lee Cent
Exquisite MS66 Brown, W-8620
1795 CENT Talbot, Allum, & Lee Cent MS66 Brown PCGS. Fuld-1,
W-8620, Rulau-E-NY-881, R.1. As of (3/26), this Premium Gem is
tied with two other MS66 Brown coins for highest numerical grade
bestowed by PCGS upon a business strike 1795 Talbot, Allum & Lee
cent, although one other piece has been certified as MS66 Red and
Brown. The finest example in full Red grades MS64. This magnificent
example is satin-smooth and mostly chocolate-brown, but it retains
ample orange-red near the margins. Only the infrequent minor gray
fleck and a faint hair-thin mark through the pole deny perfection.
