Important Proof Striking, W-8620
1795 Talbot, Allum, & Lee Cent, Lettered Edge, PR65 Red and
Brown NGC. Fuld-1, W-8620, Rulau-E-NY-881. This boldly struck
proof representative has exceptional mirrored fields, entirely full
design definition, and a delightful blend of blue-green toning and
orange mint color. The Talbot, Allum & Lee cents of this type are
plentiful in Mint State grades, but seldom seen sporting a proof
certification. The edge lettering is not visible in the holder.
