    Silver 1796 Castorland Medal AU55

    1796 MEDAL Castorland Medal, Silver AU55 PCGS. Breen-1058. Light chestnut and pearl-gray toning graces this boldly struck and lightly marked example. Struck from original dies, with CA in CASTORLAND low, and the first U below G in FRUGUM. The fields show some reflectivity, particularly on the reverse. No indication of die bulging or breaks at 3 o'clock on the reverse, as seen on some restrikes. Certified in a green label holder.
