    Description

1796 Copper Company of Upper Canada
    Myddleton Token Mule, PR66 Brown
    Tied for Finest Certified, W-8910

1796 TOKEN Copper Company of Upper Canada Token PR66 Brown PCGS. CAC. Breen-1076, W-8910, R.7. Boulton & Watt was the maker of the rare Myddleton token, as well as a store card for the Copper Company of Upper Canada. Dies for the two disparate token issues were muled together to create the present variety, likely in small number as part of a salesmen portfolio that demonstrated the quality of workmanship at the private mint. The present chocolate-brown proof appears pristine and features a razor-sharp strike. Listed on page 77 of the 2013 Guide Book. Population: 2 in 66 Brown, 0 finer (2/13).

    Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 651)
