1904 G$1 Lewis and Clark Gold Dollar MS66 PCGS. CAC. Scintillating orange-gold surfaces contain hints of lighter hues and are infused with boundless luster, achieving CAC approval. Following the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair and its Jefferson and McKinley gold dollars, which celebrated the Louisiana purchase, the 1905 Lewis and Clark Exposition in Portland, Oregon celebrated the explorers' adventure into the new American territory. With it came a similar gold dollar issue, depicting one explorer on each side.(Registry values: N4719)
