Few Certified Finer of the Type
1904 G$1 Lewis and Clark Gold Dollar MS66 PCGS. The 1904
Lewis and Clark gold dollar is slightly more plentiful in high
grade than the 1905 issue, but it is still scarce in Premium Gem
condition and rare finer than this level. The present coin displays
a bold strike and smooth, satiny fields with luminous yellow-gold
luster. PCGS lists only 21 numerically finer representatives
(4/16).(Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# BYLF, PCGS# 7447, Greysheet# 10205)
