Few Known Finer
1905 G$1 Lewis and Clark Gold Dollar MS66 PCGS. This is a
sharp and well-preserved Premium Gem example with vibrant
straw-gold and peach-orange luster. Only a few stray marks prevent
an even finer grade. The 1905 Lewis and Clark gold dollar is
plentiful through MS65 but becomes scarce in MS66. PCGS reports
only 10 numerically finer examples (11/25).(Registry values: N7079)From The Presidio Collection.
