Description
Richly Colored 1905 Lewis and Clark Commemorative, MS 66 PCGS
1905 G$1 Lewis and Clark MS 66 PCGS. This issue is considerably scarcer than its 1904 counterpart in all grades despite comparable mintages. The colorful surfaces show radiant orange-gold coloration that yields to green hues at select angles. Both sides are equally free of abrasions and the frosty luster rolls gently around the sharply struck devices. Although PCGS reports 2 examples in MS 67 (12/99), we would be surprised if any 1905 Lewis and Clark commem could surpass this coin in terms of eye appeal.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# BYLG, PCGS# 7448, Greysheet# 10207)
