Impressive Gem 1905 Lewis and Clark Gold Dollar1905 G$1 Lewis and Clark MS65 PCGS. Until relatively recently, this issue has been considered a sleep. Today, in the 21st century, the market value has finally begun to catch up with the true rarity of this issue, although we believe there may be a ways to go. The Lewis and Clark Exposition was held in Portland, Oregon, in commemoration of the expedition that traveled west a century earlier. Today, in 2004, this expedition is again on our minds, with a new reverse design issued for the nickel, to mark the bicentennial of Lewis and Clark's westward travels.
This lovely Gem is certainly going to please the successful bidder. This is highly lustrous with rich yellow gold texture. The design features are very sharply defined. An excellent opportunity awaits the observant bidder.(#7448) (Registry values: N4719) (NGC ID# BYLG, PCGS# 7448)
