The Panama-Pacific Exposition's grandeur could not be understated with a veritable city being erected for the 10-month event which hosted 18 million visitors. Among the plethora of attractions, one could visit was the Mint's booth which featured a quarter eagle whose design was created in tandem by Charles Keck and George Morgan.
