Description

1915-S Pan-Pac Two and a Half, MS67
Sharply Struck and Virtually Unmarked

1915-S $2 1/2 Panama-Pacific Quarter Eagle MS67 NGC. CAC. The 1915-S Panama-Pacific quarter eagles were a Charles Barber-George T. Morgan dual-design piece, but for once Barber outdid Morgan in artistry, in this cataloger's opinion. These pieces are the largest "affordable" Pan-Pac gold commemoratives for the vast majority of collectors, and this Superb Gem is among the finest survivors at either service. This orange-gold piece displays excellent eye appeal with a sharp strike and virtually none of the tiny marks that many lower-graded examples show.(Registry values: N4719)
